Masatsugu Ono

Masatsugu Ono, born in 1970, is an author, translator and Professor of Literature at Rikkyo University. His works include Nigiyakana wan ni seowareta fune (Boat on a Choppy Bay), which won him the Mishima Yukio Prize, the Akutagawa Prize-winning work Kyunen-mae no inori (A Prayer Nine Years Ago), and Shishi watari bana (Lion's Tread Point). He has also translated several works, including Maria NDiaye's Rosie Carpe, and Edouard Glissant's Introduction to the Poetics of Diversity.
